ॐ हृषीकेशाय नमः

मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम् । वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥

"Swift as thought, fast as the wind, master of the senses, wisest among the wise — I take refuge in Hanuman, Rama's devoted messenger."

"Salutations to the single-tusked Lord, who shows that even what's broken can still hold up the whole."

ॐ भानवे नमः

"Salutations to the Sun as Bhanu, the shining one who brings clarity wherever light falls."

या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता । या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना ॥

"She who is white as jasmine, moon, and snow, clothed in white, holding the finest veena, seated on a white lotus — that is Saraswati."

"We meditate on Lord Narayana, the indwelling Vasudeva; may Lord Vishnu inspire our understanding."

"Salutations to Kartikeya, born amid the reeds, a name that turns any humble origin into strength."

"Salutations to Lord Rudra, the fierce and compassionate form of Shiva who guards against harm."

"Salutations to the Lord in his boar form, who lifted the earth itself from the depths to safety."

ॐ कात्यायनाय विद्महे कन्याकुमारी च धीमहि तन्नो दुर्गा प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the daughter of Katyayana, the eternal maiden; may Goddess Durga inspire our understanding."

"Salutations to Goddess Kali, who fiercely protects by cutting through illusion and fear."

ॐ दाशरथाय विद्महे सीतावल्लभाय धीमहि तन्नो रामः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the son of Dasharatha, beloved of Sita; may Lord Rama inspire our understanding."

ॐ शं शनैश्चराय नमः

"Salutations to Shani, the slow mover, whose lessons are strict but always ultimately fair."

ॐ दुं दुर्गायै नमः

"Salutations to Goddess Durga, fierce protector who dissolves fear the moment it's named."

ॐ आञ्जनेयाय विद्महे वायुपुत्राय धीमहि तन्नो हनुमान् प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the son of Anjani; may Hanuman, son of the wind god, inspire our understanding."

ॐ देवी चन्द्रघण्टायै नमः

"Salutations to Chandraghanta, the bell-bearing form of the Goddess, whose fearless presence steadies courage."

ॐ श्रीं धैर्यलक्ष्म्यै नमः

"Salutations to Dhairya Lakshmi, Goddess of courage, who steadies the heart when circumstances shake it."

ॐ क्रां क्रीं क्रौं सः भौमाय नमः

"A seed mantra invoking Mangala, giving steady courage and the energy to act."

हर हर महादेव

"A joyful call to Shiva, the great god who takes away all suffering."

ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महासेनाय धीमहि तन्नो षण्मुखः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on that supreme being; may the six-faced Kartikeya, great commander, inspire our understanding."

ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the radiant divine light of that supreme source; may it illuminate and guide our understanding."

एकं सद्विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति

"Truth is one; the wise call it by many names."

ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात्

"Salutations to Brahma, the creative principle from which every new thing arises."

"Salutations to Bhaskara, the maker of light, whose glow reveals what darkness once hid."

ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि तन्नो दन्ती प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on that supreme being; may the tusked, curved-trunk Ganesha inspire our understanding."

ॐ देवी शैलपुत्र्यै नमः

"Salutations to Shailaputri, daughter of the mountain, the first form of Durga worshipped for grounded new starts."

ॐ वेदात्मनाय विद्महे हिरण्यगर्भाय धीमहि तन्नो ब्रह्मा प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the soul of the Vedas, the golden-wombed source; may Brahma inspire our understanding."

असतो मा सद्गमय । तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ॥

"Lead me from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, from death to immortality."

सुखकर्ता दुःखहर्ता वार्ता विघ्नाची । नुरवी पुरवी प्रेम कृपा जयाची ॥

"Giver of joy, remover of sorrow, dispeller of every obstacle — whose grace fulfills every sincere wish."

"Salutations to Savitr, the inspirer, who stirs all life awake and forward."

ॐ जनकनन्दिन्यै विद्महे भूमिजायै धीमहि तन्नो सीता प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the daughter of Janaka, born of the earth; may Sita inspire our understanding of quiet strength."

ॐ नमो भगवते कूर्माय

"Salutations to the Lord in his tortoise form, the steady, patient foundation beneath the churning of life."

नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः । न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः ॥

"Weapons cannot cut the soul, fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, and wind cannot dry it."

ॐ काकध्वजाय विद्महे खड्गहस्ताय धीमहि तन्नो मन्दः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the one whose banner bears a crow, sword in hand; may the slow-moving Shani inspire our understanding."

ॐ देवी ब्रह्मचारिण्यै नमः

"Salutations to Brahmacharini, the ascetic form of the Goddess, embodying patient, sustained devotion."

नीलाञ्जनसमाभासं रविपुत्रं यमाग्रजम् । छायामार्तण्डसम्भूतं तं नमामि शनैश्चरम् ॥

"I bow to Shani, dark as collyrium, son of the Sun, born of Chhaya, who teaches patience through what he withholds."

ॐ गिरिजायै नमः

"Salutations to Girija, born of the mountains — steady, patient, and unshaken."

ॐ द्यौः शान्तिरन्तरिक्षं शान्तिः पृथिवी शान्तिरापः शान्तिरोषधयः शान्तिः । वनस्पतयः शान्तिर्विश्वेदेवाः शान्तिर्ब्रह्म शान्तिः सर्वं शान्तिः शान्तिरेव शान्तिः सा मा शान्तिरेधि ॥

"Peace in the sky, peace in the atmosphere, peace on earth, peace in the waters, peace in the plants — may that peace come to me."

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय

"Salutations to the divine Vasudeva, the indwelling Lord present in all beings."

कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम् । सदावसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि ॥

"I bow to Lord Shiva, camphor-white and an incarnation of compassion, who along with Bhavani ever dwells within the lotus of my heart."

हरि ॐ तत् सत्

"Hari, the remover of sorrow; Om, the sound of the absolute; Tat Sat, that alone is truth."

ॐ क्षीरपुत्राय विद्महे अमृततत्त्वाय धीमहि तन्नो चन्द्रः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the son of the milky ocean, essence of nectar; may the Moon inspire our understanding."

मेधा देवी जुषमाणा न आगात् विश्वाची भद्रा सुमनस्यमाना

"May the Goddess of intellect, all-pervading and auspicious, come to us joyfully and gladly."

"A seed mantra invoking Budha, planet of intellect, for clear and quick understanding."

ॐ वाग्देव्यै च विद्महे कामराजाय धीमहि तन्नो देवी प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the Goddess of speech; may she inspire clarity in our understanding."

बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन-कुमार । बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेश विकार ॥

"Knowing myself weak in wisdom, I remember Hanuman, son of the wind; grant me strength, intellect, and knowledge, and remove my flaws."

श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज, निज मन मुकुरु सुधारि । बरनउं रघुबर बिमल जसु, जो दायकु फल चारि ॥

"Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru's lotus feet, I describe the pure glory of Rama, giver of the four fruits of life."

ॐ देवकीनन्दनाय विद्महे वासुदेवाय धीमहि तन्नो कृष्णः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the joyful son of Devaki; may Lord Krishna inspire our understanding."

ॐ वृषभानुजायै विद्महे कृष्णप्रियायै धीमहि तन्नो राधा प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the daughter of Vrishabhanu, beloved of Krishna; may Radha inspire our understanding of pure love."

अच्युतं केशवं कृष्ण दामोदरं राम नारायणं जानकीवल्लभम्

"A garland of the Lord's sweetest names, sung simply for the joy of saying them."

"A joyful, rhythmic call to the divine pair Radha and Krishna, love in its most complete form."

ॐ श्रीं धान्यलक्ष्म्यै नमः

"Salutations to Dhanya Lakshmi, Goddess of grain and nourishment, ensuring no home goes hungry."

यन्मूले सर्वतीर्थानि यन्मध्ये सर्वदेवता । यदग्रे सर्ववेदाश्च तुलसी त्वां नमाम्यहम् ॥

"At whose root are all sacred rivers, in whose middle are all deities, at whose tip are all the Vedas — Tulsi, I bow to you."

ॐ श्रीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः

"Salutations to Mahalakshmi, Goddess of abundance in every sense — material, emotional, and spiritual."

ॐ महादेव्यै च विद्महे विष्णुपत्न्यै च धीमहि तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the great Goddess, consort of Vishnu; may Lakshmi inspire our understanding."

ॐ हिरण्यगर्भाय नमः

"Salutations to the golden-wombed source of creation, from which abundance continually arises."

ॐ श्रीं धनलक्ष्म्यै नमः

"Salutations to Dhana Lakshmi, giver of wealth, one of the eight forms of the Goddess of abundance."

ॐ यक्षाय कुबेराय वैश्रवणाय धनधान्याधिपतये धनधान्यसमृद्धिं मे देहि दापय स्वाहा

"O Kubera, lord of wealth and grain, grant me abundance and prosperity in both."

ॐ नमो वेङ्कटेशाय

"Salutations to Lord Venkateswara, who is said to remove debts of every kind, financial and karmic alike."

नमः पार्वतीपतये हर हर महादेव

"Salutations to the Lord of Parvati, a joyful, communal cry of devotion at festivals and celebrations."

ॐ आनन्दो ब्रह्मेति व्यजानात्

"He realized that bliss itself is the ultimate reality, joy is not a reward you earn, but the ground you already stand on."

गोविन्द बोलो हरि गोपाल बोलो, राधा रमण हरि गोपाल बोलो

"A simple, joyful call to Krishna, the beloved of Radha."

हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे । हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे ॥

"A call to the divine energy of the Lord, Krishna and Rama, that turns the heart toward joyful devotion."

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके । शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

"O auspiciousness of all that is auspicious, fulfiller of every purpose, refuge of all — salutations to you, Narayani."

ॐ देवी कालरात्र्यै नमः

"Salutations to Kalaratri, the dark night form of the Goddess, who looks fearsome only to what should fear her."

ॐ महाकाल्यै च विद्महे श्मशानवासिन्यै च धीमहि तन्नो काली प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the great Goddess Kali; may she inspire our understanding, teaching us that even endings are sacred."

संकट मोचन नाम तिहारो, जो आवे सो चित्त हरो

"Your name itself, Sankat Mochan, removes every trouble of one who calls upon it with a whole heart."

ॐ भ्रां भ्रीं भ्रौं सः राहवे नमः

"A seed mantra invoking Rahu, steadying the mind against confusion, anxiety, and sudden fear."

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज । अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥

"Let go of every other burden and turn to me alone for refuge; I will free you from all sorrow — do not grieve."

ॐ गिरिजापतये नमः

"Salutations to the Lord of Girija (Parvati), honoring the union of Shiva and Shakti."

सीता राम सीता राम, कहिये जितने बार भला

"Say the name Sita-Ram as many times as you can — devotion here is not about perfection, just repetition of love."

ॐ गिरिराजसुतायै विद्महे महासिंहासनायै धीमहि तन्नो गिरिजा प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the daughter of the mountain king; may Girija (Parvati) inspire our understanding."

"Salutations to Shukra, planet of grace and partnership, blessing unions with warmth."

ॐ देवी कात्यायन्यै नमः

"Salutations to Katyayani, worshipped by unmarried maidens for a life partner marked by respect and warmth."

ॐ आदित्याय नमः

"Salutations to Aditya, son of Aditi, whose steady rising overcomes every darkness."

ॐ नमो भगवते परशुरामाय

"Salutations to Parashurama, the warrior-sage, who stood firm to set an unbalanced world right again."

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ । निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

"O curved-trunk, mighty-bodied one, radiant as a million suns — make all my endeavors free of obstacles, always."

ॐ सुब्रह्मण्याय नमः

"Salutations to Subrahmanya, commander of the divine forces, granter of courage in battle and in life."

ॐ श्रीं विजयलक्ष्म्यै नमः

"Salutations to Vijaya Lakshmi, Goddess of victory, who turns sustained effort into success."

ॐ नमः शिवाय

"I bow to Shiva, the supreme reality within myself and all things."

ॐ सदाशिवाय नमः

"Salutations to the ever-auspicious, eternal Shiva."

ॐ विष्णवे नमः

"Salutations to Lord Vishnu, the all-pervading sustainer of the universe."

रघुपति राघव राजा राम, पतित पावन सीता राम

"Rama, lord of the Raghu dynasty, purifier of the fallen, beloved of Sita."

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्

"We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, who nourishes and nurtures all; may He free us from the bonds of fear and suffering, as easily as a ripe fruit falls from its vine."

ॐ संकटमोचनाय नमः

"Salutations to the remover of troubles, who lifts the weight of difficulty from devoted hearts."

ॐ पद्मनाभाय नमः

"Salutations to the one from whose navel the lotus of creation blooms."

ॐ गङ्गायै विद्महे विष्णुपत्न्यै च धीमहि तन्नो गङ्गा प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on Ganga, consort of Vishnu; may she inspire our understanding and wash our burdens clean."

ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमः

"Salutations to Siddhidatri, giver of accomplishment, the final form of the Goddess who completes what was begun."

ॐ सिद्धिविनायकाय नमः

"Salutations to the Lord who grants siddhi, the accomplishment of what is rightly begun."

ॐ विश्वकर्मणे नमः

"Salutations to Vishwakarma, the divine architect, blessing skillful, honest work."

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥

"You have the right to your actions alone, never to their fruits; do not let the fruit be your motive, nor be attached to inaction."

शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम्

"I am Shiva, pure consciousness itself — untouched by fear, name, or form."

ॐ अङ्गारकाय नमः

"Salutations to Angaraka, the fiery red planet, whose energy — rightly channeled — becomes bold self-assurance."

ॐ मरीचये नमः

"Salutations to the Sun as Marichi, the shining ray, radiant and self-assured."

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्तिरूपेण संस्थिता । नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः ॥

"To the Goddess who resides in all beings in the form of power, salutations to her, again and again."

ॐ पशुपतये नमः

"Salutations to the Lord and protector of all living beings."

ॐ सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः । सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद्दुःखभाग्भवेत् ॥

"May all beings be happy, may all be free from illness, may all see auspiciousness, may none suffer."

वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्

"The whole world is one family."

लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु

"May all beings everywhere be happy and free."

ॐ अच्युताय नमः

"Salutations to the infallible one, who never falls from his true nature."

ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात्पूर्णमुदच्यते । पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ॥

"That is whole, this is whole; from wholeness, wholeness arises. Take wholeness from wholeness, and wholeness alone remains."

अन्नपूर्णे सदापूर्णे शङ्करप्राणवल्लभे । ज्ञानवैराग्यसिद्ध्यर्थं भिक्षां देहि च पार्वति ॥

"O Annapurna, ever-full one, beloved of Shiva's very breath, grant me the nourishment that leads to wisdom and contentment."

ॐ नमो भगवते वामनाय

"Salutations to the Lord in his dwarf form, who taught that even a small, humble step can measure the whole world."

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुः साक्षात् परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥

"The Guru is Brahma the creator, Vishnu the sustainer, and Shiva the transformer — the Guru is the supreme truth itself."

ॐ तत् सत्

"That alone is truth — a closing seal used to mark an offering, a prayer, or an effort as complete and accepted."

हिरण्यवर्णां हरिणीं सुवर्णरजतस्रजाम् । चन्द्रां हिरण्मयीं लक्ष्मीं जातवेदो म आवह ॥

"O Agni, bring to me that golden-hued Lakshmi, radiant as gold and silver, moon-like and luminous."

ॐ जय जगदीश हरे, स्वामी जय जगदीश हरे

"Victory to the Lord of the universe, an opening line of one of the most widely sung aartis across Hindu homes."

चरितं रघुनाथस्य शतकोटिप्रविस्तरम्

"The story of Lord Raghunatha extends across countless tellings — vast, protective, and endlessly retold."

समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले । विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्व मे ॥

"O Goddess Earth, robed in oceans, adorned with mountains, consort of Vishnu, forgive me for touching you with my feet as I rise each day."

ॐ नमो गङ्गायै

"Salutations to Mother Ganga, whose flowing waters are said to carry away what we can no longer carry ourselves."

ॐ देवी महागौर्यै नमः

"Salutations to Mahagauri, the radiant, pure white form of the Goddess who washes away old faults and grants a clean start."

ॐ गङ्गाधराय नमः

"Salutations to the one who bears the river Ganga in his matted hair, taming her force with grace."

ॐ गणेश शरणम्

"I take refuge in Ganesha, a simple surrender of whatever feels too heavy to carry alone."

ॐ स्रां स्रीं स्रौं सः केतवे नमः

"A seed mantra invoking Ketu, planet of detachment, easing the grip of what no longer serves you."

ॐ श्रां श्रीं श्रौं सः चन्द्राय नमः

"A seed mantra invoking Chandra, the moon, to cool an overheated, restless mind."

ॐ चन्द्रशेखराय नमः

"Salutations to the one who wears the cooling crescent moon upon his head."

सोऽहम्

"I am That — a mantra that naturally follows the rhythm of your own breath, in and out."

कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वती । करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥

"At the fingertips lives Lakshmi, at the palm's center Saraswati, at the base Govinda — look at your own hands each morning and see abundance already there."

ॐ भास्कराय विद्महे दिवाकराय धीमहि तन्नो सूर्यः प्रचोदयात्

"We meditate on the radiant one, maker of the day; may the Sun inspire our understanding."

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत । अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥

"As a person discards worn-out clothes and wears new ones, so the soul discards worn-out bodies and enters new ones."
