Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्

oṁ tryambakaṁ yajāmahe sugandhiṁ puṣṭi-vardhanam urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya māmṛtāt

Meaning

"We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, who nourishes and nurtures all; may He free us from the bonds of fear and suffering, as easily as a ripe fruit falls from its vine."

Why This Mantra

One of the great healing mantras of the Vedas — its imagery of ripe fruit falling naturally is a gentle reminder that release, when the time is right, doesn't have to be violent or forced.
