Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TECHNEXUSGEN PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “Omrat”) operates the website omrat.in and the Omrat mobile apps (together, the “Service”) and handles your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run Omrat and provide the features you use:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up, or sign in with Google or Apple.
• Birth details — your date of birth, and optionally your birth time and birth place, which you provide so we can generate your Kundli, daily horoscope, Kundli Milan, Nakshatra and numerology readings.
• Palm photos — if you use Palm Reading, the photo you submit is analysed to generate your reading and is not stored on our servers; it is processed transiently and discarded.
• Location — if you choose to share it, your approximate location is used to show verified Pandits and astrologers near you. Location is requested only while you use the feature and is never tracked in the background.
• Phone number — when you request a Pandit, book a Puja, or request an astrologer call-back, so our team or the provider can contact you. Phone numbers are also required when registering as a Pandit or astrologer.
• Provider profiles — if you register as a Pandit or astrologer: your display name, photo, city, services, pricing and the documents you submit for verification.
• Payment information — credit recharges, subscriptions and donations are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details; we keep only a record of the transaction (amount, status, credits granted).
• Usage data — pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, referral source. Collected via Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics.
• Cookies — small text files used to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like language), and measure traffic.
• Contact form messages — the name, email and message you submit on our Contact page.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and maintain the Service and your account.
• To generate your personalised readings — Kundli, horoscope, Kundli Milan, tarot, numerology and palm readings.
• To connect you with verified Pandits and astrologers, and to process your bookings and call-back requests.
• To process credit purchases, subscriptions and donations, and maintain your credit balance.
• To personalise features such as bookmarks and language preference.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To measure aggregated traffic and improve content quality.
• To serve relevant advertising through Google AdSense (see Section 5).

3. Third-Party Services

Omrat uses the following vetted third parties. Their own privacy policies apply to data they collect:

• Razorpay — payment processing for credits, subscriptions and donations. Your payment instrument details go directly to Razorpay.
• OpenAI — generation of readings and explanations. Your birth details or palm photo are sent for analysis without your name or email; content is used only to produce your reading.
• Google OAuth & Apple Sign-In — sign-in options.
• Google Analytics & Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage measurement.
• Google AdSense — personalised advertising on the website.
• Gmail SMTP — sending verification and support emails.

4. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication and preferences, and third-party cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.

5. Google AdSense

Omrat is a participant in the Google AdSense program. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to Omrat and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

6. Data Security & Retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — HTTPS everywhere, password hashing with bcrypt, encrypted database backups, and restricted administrator access. We keep your data only for as long as your account exists or as required by law (for example, payment records under Indian tax rules). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

Omrat is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with such data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app or on the website. Deletion removes your profile, birth details, readings history, bookings and credit balance. You may also request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@technexusgen.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Omrat after changes constitutes acceptance.
