Chapter 13 · Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

Far Yet Near · Closer Than You Think

बहिरन्तश्च भूतानामचरं चरमेव च । सूक्ष्मत्वात्तदविज्ञेयं दूरस्थं चान्तिके च तत् ॥

bahir antaś ca bhūtānām acaraṁ caram eva ca sūkṣmatvāt tad avijñeyaṁ dūra-sthaṁ cāntike ca tat

Meaning

"It is outside and inside all beings, moving and unmoving alike; being subtle, it is unknowable — far away, yet also very near."

Explanation

"Far away, yet very near" is a comforting phrase for anyone who feels distant from the divine — the very thing you're searching for may already be closer than you assumed.

Today's Life Lesson

If the divine feels distant today, remember it may be nearer than you assume — sometimes right where you're already standing.
