Chapter 9 · Raja Vidya Raja Guhya Yoga

Everyday Offering · Making the Ordinary Sacred

यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् । यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम् ॥

yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam

Meaning

"Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, whatever austerities you perform — O Kaunteya, do it as an offering to Me."

Explanation

Nothing about your day needs to be too small or too ordinary to matter — even a meal or a simple task can become sacred when done with that intention. The offering isn't about the size of the act, but the heart behind it.

Today's Life Lesson

Turn one ordinary act today — a meal, a task, a small kindness — into a quiet offering, and notice how it transforms.
