पिताऽहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः । वेद्यं पवित्रमोंकार ऋक्साम यजुरेव च ॥

pitāham asya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥ, vedyaṁ pavitram oṁkāra ṛk sāma yajur eva ca.

Meaning

"I am the father of this universe, the mother, the supporter, and the grandfather; I am what is to be known, the sacred syllable Om, and the Rig, Sama, and Yajur Vedas."

Explanation

The divine holds every role we know of love and care—parent, protector, teacher—all at once, without limit.
