A Practical Route · Faster Through Engaged Action

संन्यासस्तु महाबाहो दुःखमाप्तुमयोगतः । योगयुक्तो मुनिर्ब्रह्म नचिरेणाधिगच्छति ।।6।।

sannyāsas tu mahā-bāho duḥkham āptum ayogataḥ yoga-yukto munir brahma na cireṇādhigacchati

Meaning

"But renunciation, O mighty-armed one, is difficult to attain without yoga. The sage devoted to yoga swiftly attains the Absolute."

Explanation

Krishna clarifies that action-based yoga is actually the more practical, faster route to the same ultimate goal.

Today's Life Lesson

If a slower, harder path and a practical, engaged one lead to the same place, consider choosing the practical one.
