Chapter 5 · Karma Sanyasa Yoga

Inner Renunciation · Freedom From Craving and Aversion

Meaning

"One who neither hates nor desires anything should be known as ever renounced. Free from dualities, O mighty-armed, such a person is easily freed from bondage."

Explanation

Real renunciation isn't about giving things up outwardly — it's an inner freedom from constantly craving or resisting whatever comes. That evenness of heart, more than any external change, is what actually sets us free.

Today's Life Lesson

Notice today when you're either grasping for something or pushing something away — just noticing that pull is its own small freedom.
