Chapter 16 · Daivasura Sampad Vibhaga Yoga

A Direct Reassurance · You're Already Leaning Good

दैवी सम्पद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता । मा शुचः सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव ॥

daivī sampad vimokṣāya nibandhāyāsurī matā mā śucaḥ sampadaṁ daivīm abhijāto 'si pāṇḍava

Meaning

"Divine qualities are considered to lead to liberation, and demoniac qualities to bondage; do not grieve, O Pandava, for you are born with a divine nature."

Explanation

In the middle of a serious teaching about two opposing natures, Krishna pauses to offer Arjuna a direct, personal reassurance — you already lean toward the good. It's a small but important vote of confidence right when it's needed.

Today's Life Lesson

When you doubt your own goodness today, remember you're already leaning in the right direction — trust that instead of grieving over flaws.
