Chapter 12 · Bhakti Yoga

Meeting You Where You Are · A Simpler Next Step

अभ्यासेऽप्यसमर्थोऽसि मत्कर्मपरमो भव । मदर्थमपि कर्माणि कुर्वन्सिद्धिमवाप्स्यसि ॥

abhyāse 'py asamartho 'si mat-karma-paramo bhava mad-artham api karmāṇi kurvan siddhim avāpsyasi

Meaning

"If you are unable even to practice this, then be intent on working for Me; performing actions for My sake, you shall attain perfection."

Explanation

Krishna keeps lowering the bar to meet Arjuna where he actually is. If meditation feels out of reach today, simply dedicating your ordinary work to something greater is still a real path forward.

Today's Life Lesson

If today's ideal practice feels out of reach, just do your ordinary work with a dedicated heart — that counts too.
