Chapter 13 · Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

Rediscovered Wisdom · Truth Confirmed Across Ages

ऋषिभिर्बहुधा गीतं छन्दोभिर्विविधैः पृथक् । ब्रह्मसूत्रपदैश्चैव हेतुमद्भिर्विनिश्चितैः ॥

ṛṣibhir bahudhā gītaṁ chandobhir vividhaiḥ pṛthak brahma-sūtra-padaiś caiva hetumadbhir viniścitaiḥ

Meaning

"This has been sung by sages in many ways, in various distinct Vedic hymns, and also in the reasoned and conclusive verses of the Brahma Sutra."

Explanation

Krishna points out that this truth isn't his invention alone — sages across generations have arrived at it independently. Wisdom that keeps getting rediscovered is usually worth trusting.

Today's Life Lesson

When you find the same wisdom echoed by many different teachers or traditions, let that be a quiet reason to trust it.
