Chapter 9 · Raja Vidya Raja Guhya Yoga

Divine Mystery · Sustaining Without Attachment

न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम् । भूतभृन्न च भूतस्थो ममात्मा भूतभावनः ॥

na ca matsthāni bhūtāni paśya me yogam aiśvaram, bhūtabhṛn na ca bhūtastho mamātmā bhūtabhāvanaḥ.

Meaning

"Nor do beings truly dwell in Me—behold My divine mystery; even as the sustainer of beings, My Self does not dwell in them, though I bring them into being."

Explanation

Some truths defy simple logic—the divine can sustain everything while remaining untouched and unbound by any of it.
