Chapter 4 · Jnana Karma Sanyasa Yoga

Faith and Focus · The Path to Peace

श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानं तत्परः संयतेन्द्रियः । ज्ञानं लब्ध्वा परां शान्तिमचिरेणाधिगच्छति ॥

śraddhāvāḻ labhate jñānaṁ tat-paraḥ saṁyatendriyaḥ jñānaṁ labdhvā parāṁ śāntim acireṇādhigacchati

Meaning

"One who has faith, who is devoted to it, and who has mastered the senses, attains knowledge. Having attained knowledge, one quickly attains supreme peace."

Explanation

Faith here isn't blind belief — it's simply staying open and trusting the process enough to keep showing up. That quiet trust, paired with steady focus, is what eventually unlocks real peace.

Today's Life Lesson

Stay a little open and trusting today, even without certainty — that quiet faith is quietly doing more than you realize.
