Even If You Doubt · A Second Path to Peace

अथ चैनं नित्यजातं नित्यं वा मन्यसे मृतम् । तथापि त्वं महाबाहो नैवं शोचितुमर्हसि ।।26।।

atha cainaṃ nitya-jātaṃ nityaṃ vā manyase mṛtam tathāpi tvaṃ mahā-bāho naivaṃ śocitum arhasi

Meaning

"But even if you think the soul is constantly born and constantly dies, O mighty-armed one, even then you should not grieve like this."

Explanation

Krishna offers an alternative argument for those who don't accept the soul's eternity, showing grief is unwarranted either way.

Today's Life Lesson

You don't need to resolve every philosophical doubt to find peace — sometimes practical wisdom is enough.
