Chapter 18 · Moksha Sanyasa Yoga

A Personal Promise · You Are Dear

मन्मना भव मद्भक्तो मद्याजी मां नमस्कुरु । मामेवैष्यसि सत्यं ते प्रतिजाने प्रियोऽसि मे ॥

man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru mām evaiṣyasi satyaṁ te pratijāne priyo 'si me

Meaning

"Fix your mind on Me, be devoted to Me, worship Me, and bow to Me. You will surely come to Me; I promise you this, for you are dear to Me."

Explanation

Right before the Gita's most famous closing instruction, Krishna adds something deeply personal — a direct promise, spoken out of love, that you matter to Him. That tenderness is worth remembering alongside the teaching itself.

Today's Life Lesson

Remember today that you are personally cherished, not just one of many — let that tenderness settle into your heart.
