Chapter 18 · Moksha Sanyasa Yoga

Wisdom Flowering Into Love · Not a Cold Detachment

ब्रह्मभूतः प्रसन्नात्मा न शोचति न काङ्क्षति । समः सर्वेषु भूतेषु मद्भक्तिं लभते पराम् ॥

brahma-bhūtaḥ prasannātmā na śocati na kāṅkṣati samaḥ sarveṣu bhūteṣu mad-bhaktiṁ labhate parām

Meaning

"One who has become one with Brahman, is of serene mind, neither grieves nor desires, and is equal toward all beings, attains supreme devotion to Me."

Explanation

Deep realization here doesn't end in a cold, detached state — it flowers into something warmer, a serene mind that leads naturally into supreme devotion. Wisdom and love, in this picture, aren't separate destinations.

Today's Life Lesson

Let today's moments of clarity and calm flow naturally into warmth toward others, not distance from them.
