Chapter 13 · Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

Where Freedom Lives · Your Experience Is Yours

कार्यकारणकर्तृत्वे हेतुः प्रकृतिरुच्यते । पुरुषः सुखदुःखानां भोक्तृत्वे हेतुरुच्यते ॥

kārya-kāraṇa-kartṛtve hetuḥ prakṛtir ucyate puruṣaḥ sukha-duḥkhānāṁ bhoktṛtve hetur ucyate

Meaning

"Material nature is said to be the cause in the production of effects and causes; the soul is said to be the cause in the experience of pleasure and pain."

Explanation

There's a quiet clarity here: circumstances happen through nature's machinery, but how you experience them is something you carry. That distinction offers real room for inner freedom.

Today's Life Lesson

You can't control every circumstance today, but how you experience it still belongs to you.
