Chapter 12 · Bhakti Yoga

Devoted Attention · The Sincerity of Returning

श्रीभगवानुवाच । मय्यावेश्य मनो ये मां नित्ययुक्ता उपासते । श्रद्धया परयोपेतास्ते मे युक्ततमा मताः ॥

śrī-bhagavān uvāca mayy āveśya mano ye māṁ nitya-yuktā upāsate śraddhayā parayopetās te me yuktatamā matāḥ

Meaning

"The Supreme Lord said: Those who fix their minds on Me, always devoted, and worship Me with supreme faith, I consider them to be the best united in yoga."

Explanation

A wandering attention that keeps gently returning to what matters most, again and again, with faith — that's really all devotion asks of you. It's less about perfection and more about the sincerity of the return.

Today's Life Lesson

When your mind wanders today, gently bring it back to what matters with faith — that gentle return is devotion itself.
