Chapter 11 · Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga

The Humblest Door · Devotion Opens What Power Cannot

भक्त्या त्वनन्यया शक्य अहमेवंविधोऽर्जुन । ज्ञातुं द्रष्टुं च तत्त्वेन प्रवेष्टुं च परन्तप ॥

bhaktyā tv ananyayā śakya aham evaṁ-vidho 'rjuna jñātuṁ draṣṭuṁ ca tattvena praveṣṭuṁ ca parantapa

Meaning

"But by unalloyed devotion alone, O Arjuna, can I be known and seen in truth, and entered into, O scorcher of foes."

Explanation

After showing off cosmic power beyond imagination, Krishna reveals what actually opens the door to truly knowing him — not force, not intellect, but simple, undivided devotion. The vastest truth turns out to be reached by the humblest means.
