Chapter 11 · Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga

True Glory · Drawing Both Delight and Fear

arjuna uvāca. sthāne hṛṣīkeśa tava prakīrtyā jagat prahṛṣyaty anurajyate ca, rakṣāṁsi bhītāni diśo dravanti sarve namasyanti ca siddhasaṅghāḥ.

Meaning

"Arjuna said: O Hrishikesha, it is fitting that the world rejoices and delights in Your glory; the demons flee in fear in all directions, and all the hosts of perfected beings bow to You."

Explanation

Genuine glory naturally draws both delight from the good and fear from the harmful—it's a mark of something truly real.

Today's Life Lesson

Trust that something genuinely good today will naturally draw both admiration and resistance—that's expected.
