Chapter 11 · Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga

Overwhelming Presence · Trembling and Wonder Together

dyāvāpṛthivyor idam antaraṁ hi vyāptaṁ tvayaikena diśaś ca sarvāḥ, dṛṣṭvādbhutaṁ rūpam ugraṁ tavedaṁ lokatrayaṁ pravyathitaṁ mahātman.

Meaning

"O great one, this space between heaven and earth, and all directions, are pervaded by You alone; seeing this wondrous, terrible form of Yours, the three worlds tremble."

Explanation

Something truly boundless can inspire trembling awe alongside deep wonder—both responses can be equally honest.
