Chapter 9 · Raja Vidya Raja Guhya Yoga

Detached Action · Present Yet Unbound

न च मां तानि कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनञ्जय । उदासीनवदासीनमसक्तं तेषु कर्मसु ॥

na ca māṁ tāni karmāṇi nibadhnanti dhanañjaya, udāsīnavad āsīnam asaktaṁ teṣu karmasu.

Meaning

"O Dhananjaya, those actions do not bind Me, for I remain seated as if indifferent, unattached to those actions."

Explanation

Being deeply involved in the world doesn't require being entangled by it—presence and detachment can coexist.
