सर्वद्वाराणि संयम्य मनो हृदि निरुध्य च । मूर्ध्न्याधायात्मनः प्राणमास्थितो योगधारणाम् ॥

sarvadvārāṇi saṁyamya mano hṛdi nirudhya ca, mūrdhny ādhāyātmanaḥ prāṇam āsthito yogadhāraṇām.

Meaning

"Closing all the gates of the senses, confining the mind within the heart, and fixing the life-breath at the crown of the head, established in the practice of Yoga."

Explanation

Deep focus sometimes requires deliberately turning attention away from outer noise to gather it fully within.
