Chapter 6 · Dhyana Yoga

Inner Peace · Where Happiness Settles

प्रशान्तमनसं ह्येनं योगिनं सुखमुत्तमम् । उपैति शान्तरजसं ब्रह्मभूतमकल्मषम् ॥

praśāntamanasaṁ hy enaṁ yoginaṁ sukham uttamam, upaiti śāntarajasaṁ brahmabhūtam akalmaṣam.

Meaning

"Supreme happiness comes to the yogi whose mind is peaceful, whose passions are stilled, who is sinless and one with Brahman."

Explanation

Real happiness isn't chased down—it settles naturally on a mind that has already found stillness.

Today's Life Lesson

Instead of chasing happiness today, invest in a little more calm—happiness tends to follow.
