Illustration for Bhagavad Gita chapter 5 verse 15
Chapter 5 · Karma Sanyasa Yoga

Beyond Judgment · Confusion Comes from Within

नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः । अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः ।।15।।

nādatte kasyacit pāpaṃ na caiva sukṛtaṃ vibhuḥ ajñānenāvṛtaṃ jñānaṃ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ

Meaning

"The all-pervading Lord accepts neither anyone's sin nor virtue; knowledge is veiled by ignorance, and thus beings become deluded."

Explanation

Krishna offers a nuanced view of divine neutrality, explaining that confusion arises from ignorance, not divine judgment.

Today's Life Lesson

When you feel confused or lost today, look for the gap in your own understanding rather than assuming outside blame.
