What Follows You · Letting Go Lightens the Path

अनिष्टमिष्टं मिश्रं च त्रिविधं कर्मणः फलम् । भवत्यत्यागिनां प्रेत्य न तु सन्न्यासिनां क्वचित् ॥

aniṣṭam iṣṭaṁ miśraṁ ca tri-vidhaṁ karmaṇaḥ phalam bhavaty atyāgināṁ pretya na tu sannyāsināṁ kvacit

Meaning

"The threefold fruit of action — unpleasant, pleasant, and mixed — comes to those who are attached, even after death; but never to those who truly renounce."

Explanation

Whatever isn't released tends to follow you further than you expect. Letting go of outcomes isn't just about today's peace — it lightens the whole path ahead.

Today's Life Lesson

Practice releasing attachment to today's outcomes — it lightens more of your path forward than you might realize.
