Chapter 13 · Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

Trusting What You've Heard · A Valid Path Too

अन्ये त्वेवमजानन्तः श्रुत्वान्येभ्य उपासते । तेऽपि चातितरन्त्येव मृत्युं श्रुतिपरायणाः ॥

anye tv evam ajānantaḥ śrutvānyebhya upāsate te 'pi cātitaranti eva mṛtyuṁ śruti-parāyaṇāḥ

Meaning

"Others, not knowing this themselves, worship having heard it from others; they too cross beyond death, devoted to what they have heard."

Explanation

You don't have to arrive at deep understanding entirely on your own — simply trusting and following good teaching in good faith is itself a real and valid path.

Today's Life Lesson

It's okay to grow spiritually today just by trusting good guidance, even before you fully understand it yourself.
