Chapter 11 · Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga

Reassurance · Act Without Carrying the Whole Weight

द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं च कर्णं तथाऽन्यानपि योधवीरान् । मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठा युध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान् ॥

droṇaṁ ca bhīṣmaṁ ca jayadrathaṁ ca karṇaṁ tathānyān api yodhavīrān, mayā hatāṁs tvaṁ jahi mā vyathiṣṭhā yudhyasva jetāsi raṇe sapatnān.

Meaning

"Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna, and other brave warriors too—they are already slain by Me; you merely strike them down, do not be troubled; fight, you shall conquer your enemies in battle."

Explanation

Krishna reassures Arjuna that he need not carry the full weight of the outcome alone—he is simply asked to act, not to fear.

Today's Life Lesson

Do your part today without fear, trusting that you don't have to carry every outcome alone.
