Chapter 11 · Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga

Overwhelmed Heart · When Steadiness Slips Away

nabhaḥspṛśaṁ dīptam anekavarṇaṁ vyāttānanaṁ dīptaviśālanetram, dṛṣṭvā hi tvāṁ pravyathitāntarātmā dhṛtiṁ na vindāmi śamaṁ ca viṣṇo.

Meaning

"O Vishnu, seeing You touching the sky, blazing, many-colored, with gaping mouths and vast glowing eyes, my inner self trembles, and I find neither steadiness nor peace."

Explanation

There's no shame in admitting when something is genuinely too much to hold steady in a single moment.

Today's Life Lesson

If today feels too overwhelming to stay composed, allow yourself that honesty without judgment.
